Dear Friends, happy 9/9/09!  Just a short update on the news from the Joy Bakery.  We hope you are all doing especially wonder-fully.  With the help of our talented web designer Robyn of Uyeno Design Studio, we are completing more of our web site and hope you will do some exploring.  You will find that Claire and I are open to meeting you via several modes.  Rico has info now on Hermetic astrology and services available in combined western and Vedic astrology.  An article on 2012, which will soon have the graphics completed, offers some timely hints.  Also coming soon, the Vastu (vedic design) section will be active and consulting services available (you will be able to read a short article about vastu and its connection to yoga).  An online version of Rico’s book, MEDITATION AND BEING PRESENT: PLAIN, SIMPLE AND FREE is now available at a special introductory price.

Claire has completed her training in the Ayurvedic Wellness Counseling program from the Kerala Ayurvedic Academy in Aptos, CA. and has been helping educate Rico, family and friends in the basics of healthy cooking and lifestyle.  Once you understand your personal constitution in terms of vata (air principle), pitta (fiery), and kapha (earthy/watery) then you can make all kinds of healthy decisions on diet and lifestyle.  She has been sponsoring kitchen meetings and can quite possibly do so in your home.

We have many other future plans for the site including some of our favorite environmental suggestions and ways to flow with the many changes underway.  We hope you will check in regularly.
